Shia Muslims mourn Lady Fatima’s martyrdom anniversary
Millions of Shia Muslims from around the world attended mourning processions to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the daughter of the holy prophet, Lady Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon them.
Black-clad mourners from various social classes and age groups came together to perform mourning rituals over the sorrowful occasion.
Ritualistic processions have also begun their mourning rituals in the holy Land of Karbala, condoling the master of Martyrs, Imam Hussein, and his loyal brother, Abu al-Fadhil al-Abbas, peace be upon them.
Holy shrines in Iraq, Syria, and Iran in addition to mosques, Husseiniyahs, and Islamic Centers in Islamic and non-Islamic countries are marking the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her.
The honorable house of the Grand Jurist, Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom also marked the tragic event through a mourning ceremony attended by the grand Jurist, may Allah prolong his life, a number of scholars, seminary students, and large crowds of Ahlulbait followers.
