Free Muslim appeals to the Australian government to rescue Iraqi refugees

Non-violence International Organization, Free Muslim, called on the Australian government to rescue Iraqi refugees, calling on human rights organizations to act urgently to relief them as quickly as possible.

The organization said in a statement, received by Shiawaves, that it has seen data confirming the deterioration of the situation of dozens of Iraqi refugees held in an Australian island for years, appealing the Authorities to rescue them and deal with them in accordance with international standards of human rights.

The statement added that sources confirmed that 50 Iraqi refugees are being held on the Isle of Manaus are suffering from difficult conditions and suffering under the stubbornness of the Australian government refusing to take them from Manos to another country that welcomes them, such as New Zealand, Canada and the United States.
