upon her.

The lovers of Ahlulbait, peace be upon them, are holding mourning memorial ceremonies that include religious sermons revealing the life of the Lady, peace be upon her.

Lady Khadija, known as Umm al-Mu’minīn (the Mother of Believers), was the first wife of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure progeny, and the first woman who converted to Islam.

She, peace be upon her, was called al-Tahira (the Pure Woman) in Jahiliyya era. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure progeny, titled her as “al-Kubra” (the Greater). She, peace be upon her, married Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure progeny, 15 years before Bi’tha (595-6 CE). Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his pure progeny, did not choose another wife during his marital life with Khadija.
